Fishing Report – June, 2019

June 21, 2019 Fishing Report.

The last week has provided some great Walleye and Northern Pike fishing in the Calgary, Alberta area. The Walleye have been found at all depths as they seem to be finding the food at many locations in the lakes. Northern Pike are starting to trend more into their early summer routines.

The Lake Trout up in Spray Lake, Alberta in Kananaskis country are feeding heavily and look very healthy! These trout are reasonably shallow right now as they can be caught in less then 40 feet of water.

The Bow River is running very high and in full run-off in the Calgary area. As we only fish the lakes in the Calgary, Canmore and Banff region, river run off does not impact our trips so if you are looking to get out fishing, give us a call!
