This rental package is ideal for those who wish to try your luck Ice Fishing. It is a great alternative and more economical then a fully guided tour. This rental package includes absolutely everything you need to reel in those fish while staying warm inside your private shelter on the lake! The fishing takes place at beautiful Spray Lake which is a short drive from Banff and Canmore. Prior to your arrival at the lake, everything will be set up, heater will be running inside the shelter ready to start fishing! After a brief instruction showing you how to use the equipment, you will be left on your own for the day to enjoy the fishing!

The following items will be set up ready for your use prior to arrival:
Heated Ice Shelter
Ice holes drilled inside & outside the shelter ready to use
Ice fishing rod for each person set up ready to use
Fishing Sonar/Fish Finder ready to use
Extra fishing line, hooks & tackle, bait
Chairs and rod holders

Come out with friends & family to a winter wonderland at Spray Lake to fish on your own while using our high quality equipment in a comfortable shelter. Fishing typically starts at 9am until 4pm. Other times can be arranged if required.

Fully Guided Ice Fishing Trips

Our fully guided ice fishing trips are a great option for friends & family to enjoy one of Canada’s legacy winter activities! We have many years of experience guiding all skill levels even if you are new to ice fishing or have many years under your belt. Our trips include everything you will need to enjoy a great day of ice fishing! All of our trips include your own shelter and all equipment for use during the day set up on the lake prior to your arrival by an expert ice fishing guide. The guide will join you during the trip and will be full of expert advice and knowledge of how to best catch these fish! They will also provide safety tips regarding ice conditions, the do’s and don’ts and happy to share knowledge they have gained from many years of experience!

Equipment list includes the following: Ice fishing rods & reels, bait, sonar/fish finder, underwater camera, heated portable ice hut (to keep you toasty warm), as well as comfortable seating inside the shelter. Species targeted are Northern Pike & Walleye.

Meeting location at the lake is approx. 80 minutes East of the City of Calgary.

Hotel rooms are also available 10 minutes drive from the lake.

Ice Fishing Hut Rental – Day Use

We provide fully equipped hut rentals for daily use. (We are always relocating our hut locations to insure you are in a highly productive area!)
Everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable day of ice fishing is included and will be set up on the lake ready to start fishing prior to your arrival.
The following items will be set up for you prior to your arrival: ice fishing hut, ice fishing heater, ice fishing rods and reels, bait, ice holes predrilled, light tackle selection, chairs, underwater camera, ice fishing live sonar.
Meeting location is at the lake which is located approximately 80 minutes East of Calgary.
Rentals run 7 hours from 9am to 4pm.
If you wish to get a jump on the morning or just kick back and relax after a day of fishing, hotel rooms are available 10 minutes from the lake.

Deluxe Ice Fishing Rental Package – Calgary, Alberta Region

This deluxe Ice Fishing rental package is great for those who want to go Ice Fishing, but would like an alternative to the fully guided packages. Package Includes all items set up at the lake ready for your use, Heated Ice Fishing Hut, Ice Fishing holes drilled through the ice ready to fish, ice fishing rods and or tip-ups spooled and ready to Ice Fish, underwater camera or sonar and propane heater to stay warm! Chairs, bait, rod holders also included). This package allows you and your friends & family the opportunity to fish on your own while using our high-quality equipment and staying comfortable! Stay up to 7 hours and enjoy the fishing!

This rental package can be set up at most lakes within 1-1/2 hours from Calgary. Partial lake list includes: Chestermere Lake, Chain Lake, Crawling Valley Reservoir, Eagle Lake, Mcgregor Lake, Clear Lake, Twin Valley Reservoir, Stocked Trout Lakes, Community Lakes in Calgary & Okotoks.  Many more lake locations available!
