April 2025, Report.
As our lakes are now closed to fishing to protect the spawning of the Pike and Walleye, we are looking forward to the upcoming open water season and very excited once again to be targeting those monster Pike and Walleye. If you have never fished for Northerns and Walleye in Southern Alberta in the spring, I’d strongly suggest booking with us as we specialize in both Northern Pike and Walleye fishing and only target these species all season long!
Something new in the Alberta fishing regulations this season is the change in keep limits for Northern Pike at Crawling Valley Reservoir. We can now keep 1 fish/per day if within the slot size. This regulation is now also in effect at Badger Lake.
If you are hoping to fish a lake with higher keep limits of Northern Pike and or Walleye, we can accommodate as we have other lakes in the region which are off the beaten path and offer some great fishing opportunities. To make sure you get on one of these lakes, please make the request at time of booking. Only full day trips will be offered on these lakes however.
We have added a new 4 hour trip to the line up this year, and hope this will add more flexibility to help accommodate those with limited time or wish to keep costs lower. The 3 hour trips are also still available in the early mornings and evenings and are a popular option as well. Both 3hr and 4hr trips will be at Crawling Valley Reservoir.
Trips will take place once again on Crawling Valley Reservoir, Lake Newell, Badger Lake and McGregor Lake and on a few off the beaten path locations!
Our open water fishing season begins in early May, 2025 and reservations and gift certificates can be completed by filling out the booking section or contact us form on the website or just send email to: [email protected] or call us 587 317 1751. Hope you can join us!
