Our 2023 open water season kicked off in early May on our regular Northern Pike and Walleye lakes. For the first half of May, the water temps were below average, and the ice held on very late into April which in turn kept the temps down. But things quickly changed at the end of May and into June, as above average heat started to warm the lakes rapidly. The quick warm up turned on the bite for both Walleye and Northerns. As we progress into mid June, the fishing has been excellent with some good numbers of Walleye and Northern Pike reeled to the boat.

We are happy to introduce some new trip options which are shorter in length with start times available early morning or evening. Hoping this opens more opportunity to accommodate last minute bookings also.

See summer tours section for full details about the trips available.
