We kicked off the open water season earlier this May targeting Northern Pike and Walleye. The lakes are fishing excellent as the fish are in their usual post spawn locations. They are feeding hard and packing on the weight which makes for some great battles! One of our guests already landed a giant of a Northern which measured just under 47”. The Walleye are moving a lot right now due in part to large water temperature fluctuations seen in the last few weeks. The fishing should only continue to get better into June!
