May, 2022 Fishing Report

The first 2 weeks of the open water season which kicked off May 8th have seen water temperatures below average. With water temperatures starting out in the 47F range, and continuing to warm up to the mid 50’s, these temps have kept most fish in the shallows. We have caught a few in deeper water, but many are still in the warmest water in the lakes.

The fishing has been killer so far! With very high catch rates during the warmer days, we have seen some monsters landed early this season! With Northern Pike up to 45” and Walleye up to 29” landed already , we are very excited to see what’s coming to boat side in the upcoming weeks!
